Stello
Digital insurance broker for self-employed professionals and small businesses in France
Overview
Stello is a retail insurance brokerage serving self-employed professionals, freelancers, and small businesses in France. Founded in 2018 and originally launched as Easyblue, the company rebranded to Stello to reflect its focus on professional insurance for independents. Operating through a fully digital platform, Stello offers tailored coverage across professional liability, cyber, legal protection, and health and disability lines, enabling customers to obtain quotes and activate policies online in minutes.
Stello serves more than 70,000 insured professionals across a broad range of industries, including technology, construction, creative arts, and hospitality. The company distributes insurance products directly to end customers and through partnerships with fintech platforms such as Qonto, Shine, Blank, and Propulse by CA, which embed Stello coverage alongside complementary banking and accounting services.
In December 2024, Simplis acquired Stello, creating a combined platform serving more than 50,000 professionals and SMEs. As part of Simplis, Stello continues to operate as a distinct digital brand focused on the independent professional segment of the French insurance market.
