The company operates as a subsidiary of Grupo Mongeral Aegon (MAG Seguros), one of Brazils largest independent life and pension groups, and launched within the SUSEP Regulatory Sandbox -- an innovation framework established by Brazils insurance regulator to allow new business models with a lighter compliance footprint.

The carrier differentiates through flexible, customer-controlled coverage: policyholders activate and deactivate insurance policies through a mobile app without contacting an agent. Beyond direct consumer sales, Simple2u runs an embedded Insurance-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform that lets fintechs, e-commerce platforms, mobility companies, and retail partners offer insurance within their own digital journeys via a REST API.
