Rankomat

Rankomat is an online insurance comparison brokerage serving individual consumers and households in Poland. It operates as a licensed insurance intermediary registered with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF registration #11229663/A) and reports having served more than 6 million customers since its 2008 founding, though that figure is self-reported and has not been independently verified.

The platform compares vehicle (OC/AC and motorcycle), home and apartment, travel, life, school-accident (NNW), and health insurance policies from more than 30 partner insurers, including Allianz, AXA Partners, Generali, PZU, ERGO, Link4, Uniqa, TUZ, and Europa Ubezpieczenia. Roughly 200 in-house advisors assist customers by phone alongside a self-service, single-page online purchase flow that delivers policies by email. Rankomat also compares consumer finance products, including cash and non-bank loans, car and mortgage loans, credit cards, and bank accounts and deposits, as a secondary line of business.

Rankomat is a subsidiary, not an independent company. Its former owner, Netrisk Hungary, merged its Central and Eastern European comparison-site holdings with those of Bauer Media Group in September 2023 to form Netrisk Group, which now owns Rankomat alongside sister comparison brands epojisteni.cz and srovnejto.cz (Czech Republic) and superpoistenie.sk (Slovakia). Netrisk Group is majority owned by private equity firm TA Associates, with a minority stake held by MCI Capital. Rankomat's founding year and pre-merger funding history are specific to Rankomat itself; the parent group's broader scale, headcount, and ownership are not attributed to Rankomat here.
