Overview
Prosto Insure is an online insurance brokerage and comparison marketplace serving individual consumers and small businesses in Russia. The platform lets buyers compare and purchase policies from roughly 15 partner insurers, selected from among Russia's top 20 carriers by annual policy volume, and issues electronic policies within minutes of payment.
Auto insurance is the company's core line, covering both OSAGO (mandatory third-party liability) and KASKO (voluntary comprehensive coverage), together with travel insurance -- these two categories account for the large majority of business. The product range also includes mortgage-related and general property insurance, voluntary medical insurance, sports and personal accident coverage, and a separate corporate insurance line for business clients. A dedicated travel product covers oncology treatment abroad.
The company was founded by Artem Klimov, who also founded the platform BestStocks, together with a co-founder with a background in insurance products. It operates a single Moscow office and reports 573,919 active clients on its website. Its comparison engine re-verifies pricing against partner insurers roughly every 15 minutes, and it offers a standalone reliability-check tool, ProstoCheck, that lets buyers review a carrier's financial standing before purchase.
