Pillow pojistovna is a direct-to-consumer digital insurance carrier licensed in the Czech Republic, offering motor third-party liability, property, and personal accident/illness insurance through a mobile app and web portal. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Prague, the company has grown to more than 301,000 customers and is positioned as one of the fastest-growing insurance companies in the Czech market.

The company operates a mobile-first underwriting and policy management platform that enables customers to complete vehicle inspections via photo in approximately five minutes and track odometer readings in real time through its iOS and Android apps. This infrastructure supports the pay-per-kilometer pricing model for motor coverage, under which policyholders pay based on actual distance driven and receive refunds for unused mileage. Pillow became a member of the Czech Association of Insurance Companies (CAP) on January 1, 2026.

Pillow pojistovna is wholly owned by Simply Fair Insurance a.s., which is backed by RSJ Investments SICAV a.s. (RSJ PE Insurtech sub-fund), one of the larger Czech financial groups. The company is underwritten by global reinsurers (undisclosed) for capital support. No AM Best rating or financial metrics are publicly disclosed.
