Peanut is a free Google Chrome extension that helps travelers make informed booking decisions by surfacing real-time travel intelligence directly within popular travel booking sites. Created during the COVID-19 pandemic by Brady Simpson, Alex Lakas, and a team of alumni from Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google, Peanut was acquired by Insured Nomads in June 2022.

The extension integrates destination-specific insurance requirements into the travel booking workflow, alerting travelers when their destination mandates travel insurance and connecting them directly with Insured Nomads coverage options.
