ONE Insurance

ONE Insurance launched in February 2018 as a direct-to-consumer digital P&C insurance carrier licensed by the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA), with operations focused on the German-speaking market. The carrier offers home contents, personal liability, and auto insurance -- all managed through web and mobile app channels, with no branch network or traditional agent intermediaries for its personal lines.

The carrier operates on a cloud-based policy administration platform with Munich Re providing both reinsurance capacity and support for risk assessment and data analytics. The Munich Re partnership gives the carrier access to sophisticated actuarial tooling and product development support while maintaining lean in-house headcount.

By 2021, following integration into the wefox Group ecosystem, ONE Versicherung AG was rebranded as Wefox Insurance AG. The carrier achieved profitability within approximately five years of launch, a notable milestone in the German digital insurance market. Premium volume grew more than fivefold to EUR 33.8M, with over 130,000 policies under management. wefox Group -- which also operates as a multi-country MGA and distribution platform -- holds the carrier as its regulated insurance arm.
