Overview

nsure Systems builds Catalyst, a cloud-based policy administration and MGA management platform for managing general agents, brokers, and carriers writing commercial and specialty insurance. The Hamilton, Ontario-based vendor targets lines including marine, bloodstock, energy, property, and liability, and positions the product against legacy insurance administration software.

Catalyst is delivered as multi-tenant SaaS and covers the full policy lifecycle in a single system: product configuration and launch, an automated multilingual and multi-currency quote-and-bind rating engine, document generation with digitally signed PDFs, invoicing and payments, a multi-currency general ledger, workflow automation, CRM, binder management, first-notification-of-loss claims handling, and embedded business-intelligence connections to tools such as Power BI and Tableau. The platform also exposes role-based portal access so MGAs can grant clients, producers, and business partners visibility into their own business.

nsure reports more than 40 customers across the UK, continental Europe, the US, Canada, Asia, and Australia, built up largely through referrals rather than paid marketing. The company is a listed member of the Managing General Agents' Association (MGAA) in the UK and remains self-funded, without disclosed outside investment.
