Headquartered in New York City, Novella has expanded into Miami and Houston, with a Southern California office planned, and maintains an R&D team in Tel Aviv, Israel. Novella's platform uses AI agents to automate binding, form comparison, policy review, subjectivity collection, inspections, billing, endorsements, and renewals, alongside submission tracking and marketing tools for its retail agency partners. More than 3,500 retail agencies are appointed on the platform. Founded in January 2024 by Max Kane, Michael Tsibelman, and Alex Broome, the company has raised USD 21M in total funding, including a USD 16M Series A round in May 2026 led by Brewer Lane Ventures.
