Overview
Maritime Program Group (MPG) is the largest recreational marine insurance specialist in the United States, operating as a managing general agent (MGA) with full in-house underwriting authority. MPG was formed in 2010 through the merger of three marine insurance entities: Maritime General Agency, Marine MGA, and Windward Marine Underwriters. Acquired by One80 Intermediaries, MPG now operates as One80 Marine, distributing a complete suite of recreational, inland, and commercial ocean marine programs through a network of more than 2,000 brokers. MPG holds the distinction of being the only marine program underwriter with binding authority from the same two carriers for more than 28 consecutive years.
