The company pioneered a group-buying model for specialty pet insurance before evolving into a full-stack digital pet insurer. ManyPets became a unicorn in 2021, reached a USD 2B valuation, and operates across the UK and US markets. The company is backed by Octopus Ventures and EQT. In 2025, Group CEO and Co-Founder Steven Mendel transitioned leadership to Luisa Barile, who serves as CEO.
