Mango Insurance

Mango Insurance is an embedded insurance brokerage that sells automotive protection products through car dealers and online car marketplaces in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

The company's product line covers extended vehicle warranties, GAP insurance (protection against the depreciation gap between a vehicle's insured value and its purchase or financed value), and MOT/technical-inspection insurance covering the cost of repairs required to pass a failed roadworthiness inspection. Products are embedded at the point of sale so a partner dealer's own customers can buy coverage without leaving the purchase flow. Mango runs local offices in each of the three Baltic states and is pursuing insurance mediation more broadly in the Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and France.

In Lithuania, Mango acts as the direct insurance agent for Fortegra Europe Insurance Company SE, a subsidiary of NASDAQ-listed Tiptree Financial, which underwrites the risk. In Latvia, Mango operates under its own insurance broker's licence issued by the Bank of Latvia. Mango is also the official Lithuanian agent of DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP, a roughly 30-year-old Czech supplementary-auto-insurance group, marking the group's seventh European market. Mango has issued more than 14,000 extended warranty contracts through a network of more than 300 trading partners, including Vilnius Auto, MotorHood, Longo, Deals on Wheels, the Autoplius dealer network, Daimonda, and EWA.
