Magnolia is a loan insurance brokerage serving individual borrowers in France, operating through an online comparison platform at Magnolia.fr. The company specializes in mortgage protection insurance (assurance de pret immobilier) and positions itself as an independent intermediary that helps consumers compare policies from multiple insurers to replace bank-bundled coverage under French delegated insurance laws (Loi Lagarde, Loi Hamon, and Amendment Bourquin).

The brokerage runs dual distribution channels: a B2C comparison site for consumers and Simulassur.com, a B2B pricing and subscription platform built for real estate professionals such as mortgage brokers and notaries. Magnolia maintains a network of over 50 insurance advisors alongside its digital tools and partners with 13 major insurers including Allianz, AXA, BNP Paribas Cardif, Generali, MetLife, Swiss Life, and others. As of end-2024 the company reported EUR 50 million in annual revenue and 200,000+ insured clients.

Magnolia was founded in 2003 by Gerald Loobuyck and grew into France's leading independent distributor of loan insurance by 2018. In January 2020 the company acquired Fluo, a digital insurtech startup focused on mobile and neo-bank distribution channels. In September 2025 Magnolia acquired a 51% stake in Cheval Blanc Patrimoine, a wealth management firm, broadening its product offering into investment products. Qualium Investissement held a minority stake from 2019 until January 2026 when Malakoff Humanis -- a mutual insurance group with EUR 7.5 billion in revenue -- completed a majority acquisition for approximately EUR 300 million.
