Jewelers Mutual Group is a specialty insurance holding company and the longest-operating jewelry insurer in North America. Founded in 1913 by a group of Wisconsin jewelers who could not find adequate insurance for their stores, the company has grown to serve more than 1 million customers across the United States and Canada. In 2020, Jewelers Mutual converted from a mutual company to a mutual holding company structure, forming Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, SI, as its stock subsidiary. The group operates Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company and JM Specialty Insurance Company, both domiciled in Wisconsin.
