Insurverse

Insurverse is a direct-to-consumer digital non-life insurance carrier licensed in Thailand, distributing auto, travel, personal accident, and home/condo insurance directly to consumers with no agents or brokers involved in purchase, service, or claims. Customers configure coverage limits and product types themselves and see pricing update in real time before buying entirely online.

The platform uses OCR technology to capture documents during purchase and claims, and offers app-based claims reporting with photo and video submission and real-time status tracking. Car insurance -- covering Thailand's compulsory third-party motor cover (CTPL) and voluntary Class 1 through Class 3+ tiers -- was the first product line, launched in 2023, with travel, personal accident, and home/condo coverage added since. Health and pet insurance are listed on the company's site as planned additions, not yet live.

Insurverse operates as a licensed non-life insurer in its own right rather than as an intermediary: the registered entity dates to 1982 as Erawan Insurance Public Company Limited. Dhipaya Group Holdings PCL (SET: TIPH), a publicly listed Thai insurance group, acquired the entity's shares in October 2022 and relaunched it under the Insurverse brand in January 2023 as a fully digital carrier. Insurverse has raised no independent venture or private-equity funding; it operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary, drawing on its parent's licensing, capital, and infrastructure.
