INSTECH.IE

InsTech.ie is a not-for-profit insurtech ecosystem organization based in Dublin, Ireland, established in November 2021 to develop Ireland's insurance technology cluster and position the country as a hub for insurance innovation. The organization connects insurance incumbents, technology startups, investors, and policymakers across Ireland and internationally.

The organization operates a suite of programs including Ireland's first insurance-focused accelerator (the Foundry), a digital sandbox for testing solutions, educational bootcamps, a mentor programme, and an annual Transformation Summit. It publishes an annual Irish InsurTech Report and maintains a directory and map of 114+ Irish insurtechs. InsTech.ie is legally registered as Instech Hub Ireland CLG (Company Registration Number 707042) and was established under the mandate of the Irish Department of Finance's Action Plan for Finance.

InsTech.ie is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the ERDF Southern, Eastern and Midland Regional Programme 2021-2027 and the Northern and Western Regional Programme 2021-2027. Membership for insurtechs is free. In 2024, InsTech.ie was selected for additional funding under the Smart Regions Enterprise Innovation Scheme and announced a strategic partnership with BrokerTech Ventures to support cross-border expansion of Irish insurtechs into the U.S. market.
