Overview

Hackquarters is a startup accelerator and corporate innovation platform founded in 2015, with operations in Istanbul and London. The organization connects early-stage technology startups in fintech, insurtech, and adjacent sectors with corporate partners, mentors, and capital pathways, primarily serving the EMEA region. Programs have been delivered across the UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Turkey.

Since inception, Hackquarters has run 114+ programs and managed 50+ startup accelerator cohorts. A specific insurtech track, HackZone, has paired insurance-focused startups with established carriers such as Allianz in Turkey and the broader MENA/EMEA region. Corporate innovation services include trend scouting, startup sourcing, co-designed workshops, and facilitation of proof-of-concept pilots between startups and corporate partners.

In November 2023, Tenity -- a fintech and insurtech innovation ecosystem headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland -- acquired Hackquarters. The combined entity operates six hubs (Zurich, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Madrid, Istanbul), works with approximately 70 corporate partners, and has supported over 1,600 alumni startups that have collectively raised more than USD 1 billion in funding.
