Foxquilt is a commercial lines MGA writing small and medium-sized business (SMB) insurance across all 50 US states and eight Canadian provinces through a digital-first, embedded distribution model. The company operates as both product developer and underwriter, issuing policies in property and casualty lines including general liability, professional liability, errors and omissions, business owners policies, workers compensation, umbrella/excess, and inland marine.

Foxquilt underwrites on capacity provided by Markel and, through Lloyd's syndicate participation, extends its ability to serve a broad range of SMB industries. The Foxden platform -- a proprietary cloud-based policy administration and quoting system -- enables sub-minute policy issuance for eligible risks by applying machine learning to automate risk scoring, pricing, and document generation.

Distribution runs through B2B embedded partnerships with associations, professional networks, and digital platforms serving small business owners. Partners include Bold Penguin, which added Foxquilt to its agent marketplace in March 2026, expanding access to retail and wholesale agents. The company has raised a total of approximately USD 19M across seed through Series B rounds, with investors including Luge Capital, AmTrust Financial, ICM Limited, and Nationwide.
