The company operates across 42+ markets with over 20 million members and writes personal and commercial lines under the Discovery brand, including health, life, and general insurance. Its primary distribution channel is direct-to-consumer via digital platforms.

The company is best known for the Vitality platform, a behavioral insurance model that uses telematics, wellness tracking, and rewards-based incentives to influence customer behavior and reduce risk. Discovery Insure uses the Vitality Drive feature, powered by Cambridge Mobile Telematics technology, to monitor driving behavior through smartphone sensors -- accelerometer, gyroscope, and GPS -- and price risk dynamically. In early 2026, Discovery launched Vitality Drive Advanced Driving Instructor, an AI-powered in-app coaching feature.
