Overview

DigiSafe is a licensed insurance brokerage focused on rural and agricultural markets in India, serving individual farmers, rural families, and small businesses. The company holds an IRDAI broker registration and distributes motor, health, crop, livestock, life, and climate insurance products from more than 10 carrier partners.

The firm uses a phygital (physical plus digital) distribution model that pairs local agent networks with mobile technology to reach customers in underserved rural communities. Its DigiONE program identifies and trains certified Points of Sale Persons (PoSPs) across rural India, while its AIDE mobile application supports digital policy access and is used together with the Government of India and UNDP for the digitization of PMFBY (Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana) crop insurance. DigiSafe launched India's first dedicated cattle insurance marketplace, improving onboarding for livestock farmers.

Founded in 2020 and operationally launched in September 2021, DigiSafe is headquartered in Khajaguda, Hyderabad and remains bootstrapped. The company reported FY 2025 revenue in the INR 10 Crore to INR 50 Crore range with 16% annual growth and an EBITDA CAGR of 282%. The nine-person founding team is led by CEO Mallikarjun Kukunuri alongside co-founders Anupam Shrey, Suman Roychoudhury, and Nandlal Tripathy.
