Overview
Delos Insurance Solutions is a wildfire-focused MGA using advanced data science and NASA Earth-observation imagery to underwrite homeowners insurance in high-risk California communities where traditional insurers have largely withdrawn. Founded in 2017 by Kevin Stein and Shanna McIntyre, Delos combines climate science, satellite data, and proprietary risk modeling to identify and insure homes that conventional carriers refuse to cover. Delos has raised USD 28.5 million and has been recognized by CB Insights as one of the top 100 global fintech companies and an Insurtech 50 honoree.
