Dajiabao

Dajiabao is a technology-enabled retail insurance brokerage serving individual consumers in China through an online-to-offline (O2O) platform. The company provides a web-based search engine that lets consumers compare insurance products from multiple carriers, view coverage options and pricing, and connect with offline consultants to complete purchases.

The platform aggregates products from approximately 28 insurance companies, offering customers a centralized interface for multi-carrier comparison across life, property, and casualty product lines. Dajiabao was among the first companies licensed to operate in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone after launching in September 2013, establishing an early position in technology-enabled insurance distribution in China.

In addition to comparison and brokerage services, Dajiabao provides policy administration support including claim processing and policy verification, positioning the platform as an end-to-end distribution channel rather than a standalone quoting tool.
