Boleron

Boleron is a digital insurance broker serving individual consumers in Bulgaria through a web and mobile platform that enables online comparison, purchase, and management of insurance policies. Founded in 2019 in Sofia, the company operates under broker license #721-3B and aggregates real-time offers from 11 to 13 Bulgarian insurance companies, allowing customers to complete purchases without visiting physical offices or brokers.

The company covers motor (civil liability and comprehensive), property, travel, life, and health insurance products. Customers can renew policies with a single click, set up automatic monthly payments, and receive policy documents electronically via e-signature. Additional services include e-vignette purchase, traffic fine checks, and vehicle history reports.

Boleron deploys a proprietary core system that connects directly to insurer APIs for real-time pricing. The white-label version of the platform is embedded in the offerings of Yettel Bulgaria and Vivacom Bulgaria -- two of the country's largest telecoms -- extending Boleron's reach through their combined subscriber bases. The company completed an IPO on the BEAM growth market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in February 2024 and has stated plans to expand into Romania and Greece through strategic partnerships.
