AP Intego is an embedded commercial insurance brokerage serving small businesses in the United States, operating through direct integrations with payroll and accounting software platforms. The company specializes in pay-as-you-go workers' compensation insurance and a range of small commercial property and casualty products.

The brokerage distributes its products primarily through API-based connections with major small business software ecosystems, including payroll processors, restaurant management platforms, and accounting software. Rather than operating through retail storefronts or a traditional producer network, AP Intego reaches customers at the point of payroll or accounting workflows through partnerships with more than 300 software platforms. The company had over 75,000 small business clients at the time of its acquisition.

Next Insurance acquired AP Intego in March 2021 for USD 500 million, integrating the brokerage's embedded distribution infrastructure and partner network into Next Insurance's small business insurance operations. AP Intego continues to operate its partner integrations under the Next Insurance parent company.
