## Overview

SFS (Strategic Functional Systems) is a core insurance administration and digital distribution software provider for insurance carriers, brokers, agents, and banks. Founded in 1992 and headquartered at Istanbul Technical University's Teknokent, the company serves the Turkish and broader EMEA insurance market with end-to-end systems spanning policy administration, claims, reinsurance, and digital sales channels.

The company develops and maintains two main platform families: Winsure, a comprehensive insurance management suite, and InsureE, an omnichannel digital distribution and administration platform. The InsureE platform includes modules for policy administration, claims management, reinsurance, financial management, and digital distribution, and is available in both cloud and on-premise deployments. In 2025, SFS received TUBITAK TEYDEP approval for an AI-based insurance solutions R&D project.

SFS holds a significant share of the Turkish non-life insurance market. As of mid-2024, seven out of every ten traffic policies in the sector are issued using SFS systems, and three of the ten non-life insurers with revenues over USD 600 million are SFS customers.
