## Overview

NowCerts (rebranded as Momentum AMP in 2024) is an AI-powered agency management platform serving over 1,600 independent insurance agencies managing more than $10 billion in premiums. The company has established itself as the fourth-largest agency management system (AMS) provider in the United States.

Founded in 2009 by Peter Germanov, NowCerts was built by an insurance agent who recognized that existing systems didn't adequately serve the needs of independent agencies. The platform has evolved significantly, particularly following a 2023 merger with Insurance Gig that brought enhanced data integration, advanced APIs, and automated workflows to the platform.

The company maintains a 95% customer retention rate and has team members across four continents. In February 2024, NowCerts acquired 20 Miles Inc., an insurance vertical CRM company, further expanding its capabilities in serving the insurance industry.
