## Overview

Nayms is the world's first crypto-native insurance marketplace, founded in 2019 by Daniel Roberts and Theodore Georgas. Registered and regulated in Bermuda, Nayms operates a blockchain-based platform that bridges alternative capital (crypto markets) with a wide variety of property and casualty risks. The company aims to be for insurtech what Lloyd's of London is for traditional insurance, enabling blockchain-based insurance syndicates similar to Lloyd's cells.

Nayms holds both an Insurance (IIGB) licence and a Digital Asset (DABA Class F) licence in Bermuda. The company reached a USD 80 million valuation following a tokenized funding drive. Nayms partnered with Aon for a successful blockchain-based insurance pilot, completed in April 2024.
