Motorists Insurance Group is an Ohio-based insurance organization founded in 1928, now operating under the Encova Insurance brand. The company rebranded to Encova in 2019 following the 2017 affiliation between Ohio-based Motorists Insurance Group and West Virginia-based BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Co. Encova serves policyholders primarily through independent agents across the Midwest and mid-Atlantic regions.

BrickStreet Mutual Insurance was established in 2006 as West Virginia's first private workers' compensation carrier. Together, the combined organization serves personal and commercial lines customers across more than 25 states.
