## Overview

Distribution is entirely direct-to-consumer through the insurex.ro website and mobile app, targeting both individuals and legal entities (persoane fizice si juridice); the company operates with a small team of roughly three people and has no reported office network beyond its Constanta base.

The idea originated in late 2023 with a founder who had worked in traditional multi-level-marketing insurance sales and wanted a transparent, comparison-first alternative. WAC International S.R.L. was registered in 2024, and the project became technically viable in 2025 through a partnership with DEXASIG BROKER DE ASIGURARE SRL, a Constanta broker active since 2008 that supplies the back-office platform enabling fully online policy issuance. The Insurex mobile app launched in December 2025 and the insurex.ro website followed in March 2026, and the company remains bootstrapped.
