## Overview

Heph is an insurance distribution SaaS platform built for banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), fintechs, brokers, and original equipment manufacturers seeking to add insurance products to their services. Launched in 2022 as a division of InsuranceDekho, the platform connects distribution partners to a network of 49 insurers and 650+ insurance products covering health, life, motor, and group lines through a single API interface.

The platform delivers four purpose-built modules: direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales, point-of-sale person (POSP) distributor licensing, lending-linked insurance, and embedded insurance. Partners can go live within seven days using RESTful APIs. The platform manages IRDAI regulatory compliance, policy issuance, renewals, and customer lifecycle operations on behalf of distribution partners.

Heph reports 100+ enterprise clients and INR 5,000+ crore in annual premium volume facilitated through the platform. Parent company InsuranceDekho completed a Series C round of USD 70M in March 2025 and acquired competitor RenewBuy that year in a deal valued at INR 7,400 crore. Heph has announced plans to expand to West Asia and Southeast Asia by end of fiscal year 2026.
