## Overview

Geoya is a climate risk prevention platform serving P&C carriers, businesses, municipalities, and individuals in France. The platform helps insurers reduce policyholder exposure to flood, storm, clay shrink-swell, and hail by combining digital diagnostics, remote expert consultations, and on-site assessments with a database of historical loss data.

The platform operates across three service tiers: a self-guided digital tool, a video-based remote diagnosis, and a direct on-site expert evaluation. All three draw on a proprietary database of 2.6 million historical loss assessments and tap a network of more than 900 qualified assessors operated by founding partner Saretec. The platform is available on a subscription basis to other insurers and is designed to integrate into existing customer service and sales workflows.

Geoya was established in January 2026 as a joint venture of five founding partners -- Generali France, MAIF, Societe Generale Assurances, Saretec, and Sixense -- following clearance from the French Competition Authority in May 2026. Didier Cadic was appointed CEO upon regulatory approval. The founding insurers collectively cover 5.4 million policyholders, providing direct access for early platform deployment. Flood is the primary focus area, given that natural disaster compensation in France totaled EUR 6.5 billion in 2024.
