## Overview

Frenkee is an online insurance comparison and brokerage platform serving individual consumers in the Czech Republic. The company is operated by InSureMe.com s.r.o., registered with the Czech National Bank as an independent insurance intermediary and an independent consumer-credit broker. Founded in 2019 and launched in February 2020, Frenkee was built by former financial adviser Jiri Hluchy to move insurance sales away from a commission-driven advisory channel toward a direct-to-consumer online model.

The platform covers auto, home, travel, liability, employee benefits and liability, pet, and foreign-resident insurance, with life insurance, legal protection, energy switching, and direct in-app investing listed as in development. A recommendation engine narrows results to two or three tailored offers rather than a full comparison table, and purchases complete online without a phone call or branch visit.

Frenkee's product set extends beyond initial quote comparison through Frenkee Autopilot, an automated policy-monitoring and renewal tool, and FleetPortal, a fleet-insurance management product for business customers. The company reports more than 13,000 customers as of August 2026, up from roughly 2,500 in 2022, and partners with investment platform Portu and media group A11 for embedded-finance distribution. Its platform architecture is also reused as a white-label engine across several partner-branded subdomains.
