The development tooling layer (Faktor-IPS open-source platform) is maintained separately to allow actuaries and product managers to configure insurance products without custom coding.

Faktor Zehn has completed more than 50 implementations across over 20 insurance clients, including six of the ten largest German carriers. Since 2012 the company has operated as part of the ConVista Consulting AG group, which provides implementation and consulting services alongside the software platform. A 2026 deployment for DEVK Versicherungen migrated approximately 635,000 building insurance contracts to Faktor-IPM, reflecting the scale at which the platform operates.
