## Overview

Ebix, Inc., formerly known as Delphi Information Systems, Inc., is an American multinational technology company that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing (SaaS), insurance, finance, healthcare, and e-learning. Co-founded by Ken Bitticks in Atlanta, Georgia in 1976, the company has grown to become one of the largest insurance software providers globally.

With offices across Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States, and the United Kingdom, Ebix powers multiple insurance exchanges worldwide in the fields of life, finance, health, and property & casualty insurance. The company processes in excess of $100 billion in insurance premiums annually on its platforms.

Following a Chapter 11 restructuring process completed in September 2024, Ebix emerged as a financially and operationally stronger company. It is now a subsidiary of Eraaya Lifespaces Ltd., having been acquired in August 2024 for $152 million.
