## Overview

Cermati Protect is a digital insurance brokerage serving individual consumers and small businesses in Indonesia. Operated by PT Cermati Pialang Asuransi (known as PT Fokus Solusi Proteksi until it was renamed in September 2025), the company holds a full insurance broker license from Indonesia's Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and belongs to APPARINDO, the national association of insurance and reinsurance brokers.

The platform lets customers compare and purchase coverage from a panel of more than 50 partner insurers, spanning health insurance with telemedicine access, travel, gadget and e-commerce seller protection, vehicle, property, cargo, marine, and liability lines, as well as group employee benefits for corporate clients. Policies can be bought through the website or mobile app, with digital claims submission and online risk consultation.

Cermati Protect also distributes insurance through Open API and batch-processing integrations that embed coverage offers into partner checkout and booking flows, including e-commerce and travel platforms. The company reports having issued more than 7 million policies and was ranked 4th among 20 national insurance broker companies in the 2026 Insurance Market Leaders Award. It operates as the insurance arm of the Cermati fintech group (PT Dwi Cermat Indonesia), which also runs loan, credit card, and deposit comparison services, and was acquired by that group in 2019.
