Catalyit is an insurance technology guidance platform built specifically for independent insurance agencies. Founded in 2021 by seven Big I state associations and insurance technology expert Steve Anderson, Catalyit helps agencies understand, select, evaluate, and implement technology solutions to improve operations, productivity, and profitability.

Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, Catalyit serves 12,000-14,000+ independent insurance agencies through its subscription-based platform. The company provides technology assessment tools, curated vendor directories, comparison guides, consulting services, and educational resources -- all focused on helping independent agents navigate the complex insurtech landscape.

In September 2024, Catalyit formalized a national partnership with the Big "I" (Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America), significantly expanding its reach. The platform is led by CEO Marit Peters and co-founded by Steve Anderson, a LinkedIn Top Voice and internationally recognized insurance technology thought leader.
