## Overview

Breathe Life was a Montreal-based insurtech that built a cloud-based SaaS platform for digital life insurance distribution. Founded in 2018 by Ian Jeffrey, Arach Tchoupani, Jean-Nicholas Hould, and Sebastien Malherbe, the platform connected life insurance carriers with consumers and advisors through digital, advisor-assisted, or hybrid distribution workflows.

In March 2022, Breathe Life was acquired by SE2, a US-based insurance technology and administration company, which subsequently rebranded as Zinnia. The Breathe Life technology was integrated into Zinnia's product suite as the Digital Insurance Desk and hybrid advisor-led distribution capabilities, expanding Zinnia's distribution reach into Canada and adding direct-to-consumer (DTC) and advisor-led channels to the platform.

The breathe-life.com domain is no longer active and the Breathe Life brand has been fully absorbed into Zinnia.
