Founded in March 2020 by mechanical engineer Tiago de Bortoli and automotive engineer Joao Pedro Taborda Lottermann, both former Mercedes-Benz executives, Autoinsp has grown to serve major Brazilian insurers including Porto Seguro, Allianz, and Liberty Seguros. By 2024, its platform covered approximately 50% of Brazil's insured vehicle fleet -- around 16 million vehicles. The company completed a USD 1.2M seed round in 2024 backed by Bossa Invest, Venture Hub, Newlin, and Anjos do Brasil.
