In November 2023, Brookfield Reinsurance completed its acquisition of Argo Group International Holdings for approximately USD 1.1 billion, taking the company private. On January 29, 2026, the holding company was renamed Clearbrook Group Holdings Inc. -- a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brookfield Wealth Solutions Ltd. -- to reflect the combined Argo and Farm Family brands. Argo's casualty and specialty product lines retain the Argo brand.

As of March 2025, Chris Donahue serves as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Jessica Buss following the company's transformation into a U.S.-focused specialty P&C enterprise.
