## Overview

AetherLabs is a software provider serving insurance agents, brokers, and agencies in India. Its platform, Flow, centralizes the operational workflows of insurance intermediaries -- policy administration, renewal tracking, claims management, and commission reconciliation -- in a single cloud-based application, replacing the spreadsheets and informal communication channels commonly used in India's agency channel.

Flow is delivered as a SaaS platform and includes WhatsApp automation, API integrations with Indian insurer portals, and an AI layer called Flow AI. The AI layer handles policy recommendations based on customer profiles, automated drafting of claims correspondence, and a chatbot for policy comparison queries. The platform is IRDAI-compliant and built to meet the DPDP Act 2023 data-protection framework.

Founded in 2024 by two students at Scaler School of Technology in Bengaluru, the company bootstrapped its development through internship earnings and competition winnings. The founders conducted discovery interviews with more than 150 agents and brokers before building the product. As of mid-2026, approximately 70 agents are active on the platform, primarily in tier II and tier III cities.
